Personal Development Plan
In a Personal Development Plan (PDP) the employer and employee together determine which skills or knowledge are missing and what is being done about it. In other words, what needs to be done to make the employee function better or to develop further?

The PDP deals with the following aspects:
- What does the employee know now and what can he/she do already?
- Which tasks or duties can the employee carry out?
- What is the objective to be achieved?
- What are the knowledge and skills that the employee needs in order to achieve that?
- How can the employee achieve this, for example by following training courses?

SVO helps you to determine the individual training plans for your staff, in part by taking into consideration the job capabilities, business situation and the company's and employee's future plans.

Business Training Plan
The Business Training Plan (BTP) is an obligation employers have to meet in accordance with the various CAOs (Collective Labour Agreements). In practice only smaller and medium-small companies appear to have a problem in formulating good business training plans.

SVO helps you make a good business training plan which covers the following aspects:
- An overview of positions, classified into departments,
- An overview of training requirements per position,
- An overview of the knowledge present based on certificates and diplomas,
- A determination of the lack of training,
- A plan and a time frame in which the lack of training is improved,
- A plan determined for one year.

Acknowledging acquired competences
EVC, or RPL in English, stands for recognition of prior learning. In other words, all knowledge and skills count. SVO has developed a system with which it is possible to determine what knowledge and skills an employee has and whether this (or part of this) is similar to the skills of a person who has followed a professionally recognized course. The acknowledgement of these competences may lead to an official certificate.

SVO Lobex b.v. carries out the EVC process. Staff (or managers) from the meat sector who believe they are eligible for the EVC process can inform SVO Lobex b.v. of this. SVO has a number of recognized EVC auditors who can carry out an EVC process.
From the philosophy that the officials in charge at the companies themselves should be able to measure knowledge and skills, an EVC auditor training course has been developed.
